Lingua publishes papers of any length, provided they are well-justified, as well as review articles that survey developments across various fields of linguistics. Each issue dedicates a significant number of pages to critical book reviews. Lingua also features Lingua Franca articles, which consist of provocative exchanges expressing strong opinions on central topics in linguistics; The Decade In articles, which offer educational overviews for nonspecialist linguists in specific areas of study; and Taking up the Gauntlet special issues, composed of a set number of papers examining a single dataset and exploring which theory provides the most insight with minimal assumptions and maximum arguments.

Those examples are references to articles in scholarly journals and how they are supposed to appear in your bibliography.
Not all journals organize their published articles in volumes and issues, so these fields are optional. Some electronic journals do not provide a page range, but instead list an article identifier. In a case like this it's safe to use the article identifier instead of the page range.
